ASPIDER-NGI invited to present on charging at the Oracle Industry Connect event in Orlando 20-22 Mar 2017.
David Traynor will be discussing impacts on charging for the new generation of applications for critical communications and security applications. He commented “We are very pleased to be invited to OIC, not only is it a great vehicle for engaging with organizations on mobile innovation, it also helps accelerate our delivery of solutions that meet their specific implementation requirements.”
The session is titled Mobile Charging Approaches for IoT, Enterprise, and eSIM Applications [event reference BRKC1221]
Abstract: In today’s ‘Always Connected’ environment, the value delivered from new mobile applications demands new approaches for measurement and monetization beyond traditional data traffic quotas. Further, new eSIM technology provides multi-MNO connectivity and requires charging alignment across carrier and media. The session reviews implementation approaches for these new application areas. Use case discussion includes impact on charging for: IoT device life-cycle and QoS management; Enterprise security charging and rating by transaction for authentication, access control and identity events; eSIM profile management and revenue management across multiple MSISDNs and IMSIs.
