Netherlands, Jan 18 2018. ASPIDER-NGI to speak on Enterprise IoT at Oracle Industry Connect.

Oracle Industry Connect is in New York on April 10-11.  The ASPIDER-NGI sessions focus on new IoT thinking in mobile data to support Enterprise and OEM  initiatives. Topics include solutions for service providers and corporates to rapidly deploy services for MVNEs supporting IoT. Because the focus is not just new revenue, the session also addresses IoT charging for business models. These new charging models are critical for new Enterprise applications and B2B/B2C value propositions.

“We are getting a lot of traction because our approach is disrupt the IoT connectivity market. We are therefore pleased to see that these topics are critical for industry leaders like Oracle.” says Jan Mooijman, CEO ASPIDER-NGI. “The issue is critical because large manufacturers face huge barriers in getting the IoT connectivity they need.” Jan continued. “As a result, our approach allows organizations to take control of their connectivity so they can deliver more value to their global customer base.”

Session Descriptions from Oracle:

Internet of Things: Is Your Network Ready for the Growth in Traffic? [BOC1061]

The hype about the Internet of Things is at a peak. The Third Generation Partnership Project has recommended machine type communication architecture that supports both broadband and narrow-band IoT. There is also much interest in the service capability exposure function as the key component. Along with the existing EPC core, this will therefore carry a massive amount of IoT traffic from devices to servers and platforms in the network. As IoT takes off as predicted, will the network be able to handle the increase in traffic? How will IoT services impact other network services? How will IoT service be monetized? Attend this session to learn more.

Generate New Revenues with Differentiated Mobile Services for IoT and MVNOs [BOC1088]

While seeking revenue growth, service providers, manufacturers, and corporations are looking to deploy new mobile data and intelligent network services. Therefore they have to launch differentiated offerings to specific customer segments, and enter new markets using mobile and virtual network operator models. As a result, this session explores the approach different service providers and corporations have taken to rapidly deploy and evolve innovative mobile services. Hence these may be deployed on one mobile network or by manufacturers on a mobile virtual network spanning multiple underlying mobile networks to support IoT services into consumer and enterprise markets. Learn about the role of packaged solutions in enabling these successful deployments.
